The Versaluxe combines comfort, well-thought-out design and sustainable materials in a compact pack size. Whether on trekking trips, when camping or spending the night in a van – this mat offers reliable comfort for a good night’s sleep.
Thanks to the single-material design, the TPU air core and the polyester cover can be separated. This also makes it easier to recycle the mat at the end of its life.
The washable cover features many practical details: a carrying handle for easy handling, linking loops for joining several mats together, and a zipped pocket for small items of kit. The Schnozzel Pumpbag supplied ensures quick, moisture-free inflation.
Since 2021, EXPED has been supporting certified myclimate climate protection projects through a financial contribution. Together with the nonprofit organization, we have calculated the carbon footprint of all our products and our operations at our Zurich location. Our annual contribution is based on this calculation - but it does not change the carbon footprint itself.
This product contains recycled materials. You can find the exact composition in the material description.

R-value is a measure of thermal resistance. It indicates the efficiency of insulation by measuring its resistance to heat transfer. The higher the number, the slower the rate of heat transfer through an insulation.
In EXPED sleeping mats, higher R-values help sleepers retain the heat their bodies generate and the result is the pleasant and sometimes elusive condition called warmth.
Good to know: ISO-rated sleeping bags are tested with 7R mats. EXPED recommends using a sleeping mat with an R-Value of at least 6.5 or higher to ensure your sleeping bag provides the warmth it is rated for.
We recommend storing the rolled-out mat with both valves open in a dry, cool place, such as under the bed.
We recommend cleaning the mat with warm water and a mild detergent (no bleach!). Carefully clean the mat with a cloth or soft sponge. Make sure all valves are completely closed. Rinse well. The mat should be allowed to air dry after cleaning. DO NOT put your mat in a washing machine or dryer.
